  1. Enclosed is an article that was found in the "Mods" database on one
  2. of our local packet machines.  By the way, if you are on packet, there
  3. is probably some "Mods Database" server nearby.  Here in New Jersey,
  4. I use the server at n2imc.nj.usa.na.  Very simple to use.  You just
  5. send mail to reqfil@n2imc.nj.usa.na with the filename in the "Title"
  6. line and no body to the text.  You request one file at a time.  And,
  7. there are 9 directory files.  To request them you would send
  8. 9 messages to reqfil@n2imc.nj.usa.na with the titles mods\dir.1,
  9. mods\dir.2, ... mods\dir.9.  It will send back mail messages giving
  10. a list of every file in the database.

  15. Subject: tx Mod For ICOM 735

  17. The mod for gen/cov tx for the IC-735 involves removing D33 and D34 from
  18. the main board. You'll have to lift the PA module up to do this, locate the
  19. diodes and simply snip one end of each. Very simple, but it's amazing just
  20. how many screws need removing in the process!
